Seth Winston

Seth Winston is a veteran of the short-film format and won the Academy Award in 1991 for Best Live Action Short for SESSION MAN, which he wrote, produced and directed.

He holds a BA in film from the USC School of Cinema, participated in the Academy Internship Program at AFI and interned under Steven Spielberg on CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND. Credits include SHE'S OUT OF CONTROL, THE CURE, GAME DAY, IT'S MY CHILD, TOO and THE COMMON COLD.

Mr. Winston teaches at the American Film Institute and his affiliations include the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences (AMPAS) and the Writers Guild of America (WGA).
